VINTAGE FURNITURE FAQ'S

About the Piece
Does it come flat packed?
Our furniture will not require assembly, every piece will arrive as per the pictures on the website. They are old pieces, not designed to be taken apart. The only exception is for beds.
Is it genuinely vintage?
Yes, every piece on our website that includes the word 'vintage' in the title, is genuinely old. There will usually be areas on the piece that will have been repaired, but the piece is second hand and not made to look old.
Will it be good quality even though it's vintage?
Every piece goes through a meticulous QC process, making sure doors shut nicely, drawers open and it sits level on the floor. The vintage furniture we sell is extremely solid and well built. If you are looking for a piece of furniture that really will withstand real life use, then this is for you. We expect our furniture to last for generations to come.
How will I know if the furniture will fit?
It is the buyer’s responsibility to measure all access points when ordering furniture to ensure that the item will fit through doors and any narrow areas. Refused furniture deliveries will incur a return charge the same as the original delivery charge.

Testimonials
I have had an utterly exceptional experience with Ian Snow (notably Jakki and Charlie but the whole team from start to finish). To say they went above and beyond would be a vast understatement - I'm aware that sounds like hyperbole - it isn't.
I bought a beautiful one of a kind vintage Indian sideboard that I umm'd and ahhh'd about for a while. When it arrived it became quickly clear that I mis-measured my doorways and we couldn't get it in. Jakki and Charlie were very good natured about it and took it back to Devon (I live in London). They became my advocate for uniting me with this beautiful piece of furniture because they knew how much I loved it. They worked out a way of breaking it down without affecting it's beauty. I now have it in my front room and I'm very very happy with it. Literally the nicest and most good hearted people and a really gorgeous piece.

Quality of the products I've purchased from Ian Snow have been excellent and beyond my expectation. Various - grinder table, bedside table, out-of-one-piece-of-wood stool, vintage metal box. Really well made, sturdy and look beautiful anywhere. Quality of the wood, feel, carving and finish beautiful. Very pleased. Thank you 😊 And great that items are fairly traded, no dark history to sour enjoyment of them.

But my gosh, I….we…are thrilled to pieces. We have a smallish recess for this back wall so finding a cabinet (which we liked) was very difficult indeed, as I didn’t want it to protrude beyond the recess, and wanted it the length of the wall. After much, much searching and within a certain budget too, I finally came across this! We’ve been contemplating getting a sideboard/cabinet for here for some time, but always thought there wasn’t space, i’m glad we finally went for it as it makes that side of the room feel much more complete and purposeful.
@iansnowltd not only is this cabinet stunning, but honestly, I don’t think I’ve received such amazing service. So nice to speak to you on the phone- you couldn’t have been more helpful. The packaging and speed of delivery was exceptional. So thank you!
We love it!!!
